What Is FSSAI Registration ?
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is the statutory body responsible for regulating food safety and hygiene standards across India. Every Food Business Operator (FBO) must obtain FSSAI registration or license under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
Upon approval, a 14-digit FSSAI License/Registration Number is issued, which must be displayed on food premises and food packaging.
